IHC serves notice on Islamabad admin for refusing sit-in NOC to PTI

delegu.com/blog ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday issued notice to the capital administration for not giving a no-objection certificate (NOC) to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for holding its long march and sit-in in the city. The court summoned the concerned officer of the Islamabad administration to appear before it Thursday and explain the position. Justice Aamer Farooq heard the petition filed by PTI leader Ali Nawaz Awan. The PTI lawyer said the party had submitted an application seeking permission to hold its Haqeeqi Azadi March in Islamabad but the administration was dragging the matter and was not issuing the NOC. He told the court that the PTI informed the administration that it wanted to hold its rally on November 6-7. The court after issuing notice adjourned the case till Thursday.
