ISLAMABAD: Reham Khan, one-time weather presenter for BBC, has announced her marriage to model-turned-actor Mirza Bilal Baig, reportedly 13 years her junior, in a ceremony kept under wraps in the United States.
In a tweet on Friday, the 49-year-old, who is now based in the US, said: “We had a lovely nikkah ceremony performed in Seattle with the blessings of @MirzaBilal__ parents [and] my son as my vakeel.”
“Finally found a man who I can trust @MirzaBilal__” said Khan, whose previous marriage to former prime minister Imran Khan ended after nine months in October 2015.
In pictures she shared on the social media, Reham was seen in a white wedding gown while her 36-year-old husband Baig was seen dressed in a mauve-coloured suit.
Earlier, she announced her marriage by posting a picture of two hands with a two-word caption: “Just Married.”

This is also the third marriage for Baig, a US-based corporate professional and a former model.
In 2015, after her divorce with the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) party, Khan revealed that she — like Jemima Goldsmith, Imran’s first wife — had been subjected to a hate campaign in Pakistan, and that their marriage had not survived it.
Khan was born in Libya in 1973. After studying in Pakistan, she began working as a broadcast journalist in the UK in the mid-90s, including as a weather presenter for BBC South Today.
After moving to Pakistan in 2012, she met Imran when interviewing him for a local TV show.
Earlier, in July, Khan made a guest appearance on a YouTube show where she talked about finding love again. Answering a question about her marriage plans, Khan said she has been told by a family member who is also a palmist that she would actually get married again.
